BIOGRAPHY

Born in Tokyo in 1998, Moe Hinata started playing the piano at the age of 5 and the flute at the age of 12.

In 2016, she arrived in France after graduating from high school in Japan. In 2018, she obtained her DEM in the Conservatoire à Rayonnement Régional de Saint Maur des Fossés, with unanimous distinction from the jury in Déchiffrage and Formation musicale. In the same year, she was admitted to the Royal Conservatory of Brussels where she obtained her Bachelor's degree. She returned to Japan in 2021.

 

She has studied flute with Chiharu Tachibana, Miho Shirato, Hiroshi Arakawa, Michel Moragues, Philippe Lesgourgues, Baudoin Giaux, piano with Hiroko Otsubo, solfege with Yuta Miyake, chamber music with Pierre Moragues and Igor Semenoff.

She has participated in many master-classes with Vincent Lucas, Philippe Pierlot, Jean-Marc Boissière, and Philippe Bernold.

She won 1st prize at the 21st KOBE International Music Competition in Japan in junior high school / high school category in 2016, 2nd prize at the International Competition Les Clés d'Or in France in 2018, 3rd prize at the OPUS International Music Competition in Poland in 2021, 3rd prize at the 13th Luigi Cerritelli International Music Competition in Italy in chamber music category in the same year, etc.

After her first solo recital in Tokyo in 2022, she gives numerous recitals and concerts as a soloist and a chambrist.

She plays a 19.5k gold Powell flute.
