Born in Tokyo in 1998, Moe Hinata started playing the piano at the age of 5 and the flute at the age of 12.

In 2016, she arrived in France after graduating from high school in Japan. In 2018, she obtained her DEM in the Conservatoire à Rayonnement Régional de Saint Maur des Fossés. In the same year, she was admitted to the Royal Conservatoire of Brussels where she received her Bachelor's degree. She returned to Japan in 2021.

She has studied with Chiharu Tachibana, Miho Shirato, Hiroshi Arakawa, Michel Moragues, Philippe Lesgourgues and Baudoin Giaux.

1st prize at the 21st KOBE International Music Competition in junior high school / high school category in Japan in 2016, 2nd prize at the International Competition Les Clés d´Or in France in 2018, 3rd prize at the OPUS International Music Competition in Poland in 2021, 3rd prize at the 13th Luigi Cerritelli International Music Competition in chamber music category in Italy in the same year, etc.

She plays a 19.5k Gold Powell flute.
